It’s officially the holidays, and shopping is hard work. Save yourself a little splurge for some fine dining this week. Think perfectly sauced and seared duck breast, buttery braised beef, and salads so refined, they could be considered works of art. Elevate your dining experience at these fancy pants restaurants. Because you can always wear those pajama pants another night.

You'll leave the swap with a great assortment of cookies and a fun afternoon with new Yelp friends! Be sure to bring: +A MINIMUM of 4 DOZEN homemade cookies / Feel free to bake extras so there's even more to swap This year we're asking all participants to: +Pre-cut up to four cookies for sampling and bring in a ziploc bag. We'll put this in a container for judging. +Bag the rest of your cookies INDIVIDUALLY in a snack or sandwich sized ziploc bag. At the end of the event everyone will be taking cookies and this helps prevent any cookie contamination. Trust us, this is a cookie HAUL! COOKIE REQUIREMENTS: +Homemade Only: No store bought cookies. We can smell a store bought poser in a second so don't even think about it! Leave those Chips Ahoy at home! +Amount: 4 dozen is the MINIMUM. In the past, we've had over 80 kinds of cookies to swap, and a small to medium sized cookie is ideal for swapping. If you're making itty bitty cookies please make more to keep the distribution fair. If you'd like to bring more that's cool also! We want everyone to be able to have at least 1 of each cookie depending on the turnout. If you don't bake enough you'll leave your Yelp friends crying because they really want to nosh on your delicious creations! +Kinds of Cookie: Your favorite & best cookie! Cookies of all shapes and colors welcome. We're an equal opportunity cookie swap! COOKIE JUDGING CATEGORIES: In addition to swapping we'll also have a few contests where best cookie wins a fabulous prize! +Most Photogenic Cookie (Dress that cookie up, it's going to a party!) +Yelpers' Choice (Everyone has a chance to vote on their 5-star pick!) SOME IMPORTANT LEGAL LINGO: Hopefully it goes without saying, but baking cookies with anything illicit, including drugs or intoxicants of any kind, is illegal, uncool, and could be fatal. By the same token, if you have a food allergy of any kind, we're counting on you to be responsible and prudent about your condition. FAQ: Q: Do both me AND my guests have to bake cookies? A: No, but only the person who bakes will be allowed to swap cookies at the end. It's way more fun to come to the swap if you're a participating baker! Q: What if I burn all my cookies and fail at baking? A: A truly great life is filled with failures, and every single year folks burn their cookies. We recommend baking a test batch earlier in the week or baking with a buddy if you're a total novice. Even if you burn your cookies we still welcome you to join us for some holiday fun. Q: I have a nut allergy. How will I know whether or not the cookies have nuts in them? A: Unfortunately, we can't guarantee your safety at this cookie swap. If you want to risk it, we recommend bringing your epi-pen. Q: Do I need to have a Yelp account to come to the swap? A: Yes. In order to RSVP you'll need a Yelp account. It's easy to sign-up and we're very nice people. We promise not to steal your cookies. Q: Will I get fat from eating all these cookies? A: Most likely. So we recommend lots of exercise before and after the cookie swap. You will walk away with more cookies than anyone should ever eat alone. Share them with people you love. Q: Does cookie size matter? A: Unlike in other areas, cookie size does not matter. We want your best tasting cookie, regardless of the size. Just remember that whatever size cookie you bake, make sure you have lots to distribute. You'll feel sad if someone starts crying uncontrollably because they didn't get to taste your awesome, award winning cookie! Q: What happens to the leftover cookies no one wants? A: We try to find all our cookies a good home and most of the time, people are more than happy to take them in.

If atmosphere was everything, this place would get 5 stars! Inside reminds me of that scene from 50 First Dates where Adam Sandler takes his date to a tiki bar where she drinks that non-alcoholic fishbowl. I love everything from the oversized glass ball floats to the puffer fish adorning the walls. Live music, this time a group of uncles serenading us with classics. All part of the fun and entertaining ambiance! ... เกมส์ยิงปลา Fishing MasterContinue reading
