Came in for lunch with my dad and we had our eyes set in the buffet. I went straight to the buffet and grabbed a plate and sampled the rice and the butter chicken first with some of the garlic naan and a side of the vegetable salad. WOW! Usually you would think the buffet would sacrifice quality for variety but I was pleasantly surprised with how great everything tasted. For my second plate I grabbed some more of the rice and tried the 69 spice chicken and it was the best chicken I've every had at an Indian restaurant by far and I can't wait to come back again. I would also recommend coming mid-day on a week day because no one was here and it felt like we had the place to ourselves.
Came here with my dad and little brother for lunch and was pleasantly surprised with how many other people were also here on a weekend day. I ordered the two meat combo with brisket and pulled pork with two sides: macaroni and cheese and baked beans. I was blown away with the flavors of the meat but I wished it wasn't as cold. The baked beans were amazing and the macaroni was pretty good but I may opt for a different side next time. The various bbq sauce options were a real treat and give a variety to the meal that was a good addition.
I finally stopped by this place and I'm really happy I did. The owner is a really nice man he suggested the beef empanada and I chose the spinach and cheese myself. I asked him for a suggestion in terms of wines and he recommended an Argentinian wine. The empanadas were amazing and flavorful! ?The crust was rich and really complemented the filling really well and I will definitely be back to try the other types soon!
Two words: Slippery Shrimp. ?Now if you need more context I'll say Yang Chow is my favorite Chinese place in all of Los Angeles just because of this one dish. They also have incredible lo mein and a decent fried rice. I love this place and they have excellent service whether you're sitting in the restaurant or if you place an order to go. So come here if you're in the area or within 30 miles of the location.
I've had this placed bookmarked for a while now so I decided to place an order for delivery. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate with a side of rice and fries. I also asked for extra pita and got the spicy mango sauce. ?The meal was amazing! The chicken was juicy and flavorful and the mango sauce was amazing too! The hummus that came with the meal was a large portion so I'm happy I ordered the extra pita for sure. If you're in the mood for good Mediterranean food or a kabob plate this is the place to go.
This truck has a lot more options than the standard "taco truck" and I think that's incredible. Consistently great burritos that come with chips and salsa. They're currently located at Romane and Western during the day. The workers are also consistently friendly and quick with the food.
Came in here for lunch because I had some time to kill and I saw they had lunch by the slice deal (which happens to be an all day deal). The man at the register was very friendly when he took my order. I ordered the mozzarella deep dish with the caprese salad. I received the salad first and what it is simply slices of tomatoes between mozzarella topped with balsamic and garnished with basil. It wasn't anything to rave home about but if you like this ingredients then you got what you asked for. Secondly my pizza slice came. The first thing I noticed was that looked like it had been sitting for a while and then the quickly reheated it in the oven. Now of course I asked for a quick by the slice pizza so I shouldn't be complaining about the look. So I began to get started eating it and the slice wasn't all that hot. Mostly just warm and the cheese wasn't really the melted consistency you'd expect. The crust and sauce were okay at best as well. If I do decided to come back I think I would opt for a fresh pizza as opposed to going by the slice.
Came here on a Friday night with some friends after one of my friends had suggested this spot. ?There is no list you can put your name on so you have to line up outside to get a seat. ?We waited for about 40 minutes to get to the front where you order your meal before you're seated. ?I ordered the Dan Dan Noodles and the vegetarian potstickers. ?The decor is really nice and the staff is kind as well. ?The Dan Dan Noodles came out relatively quickly but the potstickers took quite some time to come out. ?The food overall was amazing. ?The noodles and the potstickers were both so flavorful and left me wanting more. ?I can definitely see myself coming back!
Came here twice with co-workers for lunch and both times the service has been pretty good except for the fact that the first time we came we weren't offered any bread. ?The first time I ordered the lunch duo with the California Veggie Pizza and the tomato bisque soup. ?The pizza wasn't bad and the soup was really good. ?The next time I came I decided to try the Crispy Thin Crust Spinach and Artichoke Pizza. ?When I received my pizza it looked kind of dried out and the taste matched. ?It appears that they cooked the pizza a little too long and had I had more time on my lunch break I would have said something but I just decided to eat what I could and go. ?I will probably be back but would need to stress the fact that the pizza shouldn't be overcooked.
Came here for lunch and decided to try out the combo. ?I ordered the Italian Job (minus mushrooms), tomato soup and a lemonade. ?The cashiers were friendly and the food came out relatively quickly. ?In terms of the grilled cheese it was said to be on "spicy" garlic bread but there was nothing spicy nor really garlic about it. ?Just kind of a normal grilled cheese. ?The soup wasn't that great either. ?It was thin and not that flavorful but was good to dip the grilled cheese in. ?The lemonade was just plain awful.
